Johnny didn't have any classes till Thursday which meant he could totally take advantage of his free time.

So, sitting behind the cheap set of drums he purchased, he was banging away, actually sounding pretty good. And when he really got into it, he lit the drumsticks Reed made for him, on fire, and wasn't that so freaking awesome! Chad would be proud of his progress, Johnny thought.

The door was wide open.

Savannah stopped singing and giggled as Destiny ran at her and tried to climb up her. She sat down on the bed and watched Johnny.

He would have been sorry that he couldn't hear her singing. Hopefully she will sing for him later. Maybe they could hit up Caritas and she'd sing for him there.

His drumsticks were flaming. "COOL HUH?! REED MADE THEM FOR ME!"

She'd sing for him anytime he wanted her to.

She grinned and nodded, hoping he could see that she was happy about his enjoyment.

Johnny banged away, making up his own song as he went along. He was actually pretty good, but he could be a lot better. Seriously.

After a moment he settled down and extinguished the flames. "What's up babe?"

She grinned. "Having fun, love?"

"Oh, yeah," his grin was wide. "This is so awesome! I hope to get really good one day and play.. I don't know, in a bar or something."

"I have no doubt that you will." She believed it.

"Got a sec? I want to ask you something."

"I'm all yours babe," he said, getting up from his drumset to join her. "What's up?"

She smiled at him. "I have a favor... and I've been thinking about it for a little while."

Even before she went dark and self-destructive.

He raised a brow. "You know I'd do anything for you."

"I want you to teach me to ride."

He smirked, he couldn't help it. "Baby, you ride so very well..."

She laughed and shoved at him lightly.

"I told Isabel that I had bought a motorcycle when I was feeling self-destructive. I wanted to learn... and Isabel said she thought it was a good idea..." She met his eyes. "Something I could learn from you... something you enjoy a lot."

Savannah's face fell. That wasn't exactly the reaction she had been hoping for.

"I bought safety gear as well," she said softly.

"You actually went out and bought a motorcylce?" He asked, though naturlly wasn't expecting her to answer again.

"Holy shit!" he exclaimed, grabbing her and hugging her tight. "What kind? When? Damn, Savannah, we'll have to go on a road trip!"

Savannah smiled again and hugged him back. "You have to teach me to ride, first," she reminded him. "Uhm... it's Kawasaki handwaved."

"Riding is not hard, sweetheart. You just have to be careful and I'm sure you will be. Kawasaki's a good bike. You've got a helmet? Gloves? Leather?" Rawwwwr.

She nodded. "The bike is red and black... so I made sure I got the leather jacket, pants, gloves and a helmet in the same colors."

Johnny's mind just went someplace happy.

She grinned at him. "So... you like the idea?"

"Are you kidding? I love it! This rocks. But... why didn't you tell me when you were thinking about it at first?"

"I didn't get the chance when I first thought of it... and then later, well I had promised you that I wouldn't practice the darker magics... I went looking for other stuff to do... but then I thought that trying to ride the bike myself without someone teaching me would probably go against me promising you that I would behave and..." She sighed, looking down. "I didn't want anyone else but you to teach me."
