Cygnus living room, pretty much all day

Johnny was lazy and had been all day long. No classes, no work, meant he and the TV were getting along great. It also meant that he really didn't have to get dressed. Gym shorts was all he sported, that and the can of soda he held in his right hand. He was watching a motocross marathon on ESPN and he was totally zoned out to anything else going on around him. 

Summer camp was totally awesome.

Hot, half-naked guy? Toby couldn't be more at home in his cabin.

"Mind some company?" he asked, entering the living room in shorts and an open, billowing camp shirt that, let's face it, left nothing to the imagination.

"Nope, wouldn't mind at all," came his automatic reply, his eyes on the TV.

Johnny's brain hadn't yet caught up with the 'hey, new voice must belong to a new guy, let's introduce ourselves properly'.

Toby casually took a seat on the sofa, and focused his attention on the television. "What're we watching?"

"Motocross, dude," Johnny answered just as things clicked. Glancing over, he did a double-take at the guy. "Hey... new guy." New, nearly naked new guy.

No, Johnny didn't consider the fact that he was actually wearing less. At least the other guy was wearing a shirt, even if it was undone.

"Toby," he said, extending his hand in greeting. "Nice...shorts."

"Johnny Storm. Pleasure to meet you, Toby," he said, giving his hand a firm shake. Toby might notice how hot Johnny's hand was.

Quirking his lips at the compliment, he allowed his gaze to fall over the other boy. "Nice... shirt."

Chad returned to the cabin after checking up on Alice at work and was utterly unsurprised. He was, however, a little confused.

"Did we share a cabin last summer, too?" he asked Johnny, "or are you just shirtless so much that it all...blends?"

He grinned, eyes still totally on the TV. "It's summer, dude," he did not feel he needed to explain.

Chad rolled his eyes a little. He blamed the fact that he had spent all day being a responsible Manager type, and the fact that it wasn't like his boyfriend was around to help him appreciate summer more in the way that Johnny did. "Then why," he asked, "are you staying inside and watching TV?"

Johnny looked up and over at Chad. "Motocross marathon. I figured if someone needed me, they'd holler."

Chad looked at Johnny for a moment, looked at the TV, and then lightly shook his head. He went to get himself a soda before he found what looked like the cabin's strongest chair and had a seat. "Doesn't it just get to look like the same stuff over and over after a while?"

Jenny wandered into the living room at some point in mid-afternoon, wearing the tank top and boxers she'd slept in and clutching her first cigarette like a lifeline, and paused in the doorway to grin at the shirtless guy on the couch. "I could get used to this cabin nonsense."

Oh, that was a female voice he heard. This had Johnny looking over, a grin already settling in place. "Summer luxury at its best."

Jenny vaguely remembered this guy. "Weren't you supposed to be my big brother or some such nonsense, once upon a time?"

Crap. He totally forgot. "Uh... Jenny, right?"

"No, actually," Jenny drawled, "I'm Fantasmagoria Mulholland."

Toby could smell the nicotine from across the room. "Hey," he grinned, loose, open shirt half falling off his shoulder as if he was windblown.

Jenny looked around for a draft that might account for the windblownness. "Hey yourself," she said.

"You don't know how glad I am to see someone else here who smokes!" he said, mouth watering from just the sight of the cigarette.

Jenny snorted. "Haven' been lookin' very hard, have you? There's me and Reno and Ronan, but I think Flaming Irish is off saving the world or something. And there's wossname, one of the newbies. Cal. But I think he was quitting. Probably some others I just haven't actually paid attention to." She gestured with her cigarette to Johnny. "And he smokes. Literally."

Savannah wandered in, wearing short shorts and a halter top.

"Hey you."

Yeah, like he wasn't going to look over when he heard Savannah. Johnny gave her a slow, casual, once-over. "Hey, babe." He patted his lap. "Come here, sweetheart."

Savannah gave him a grin and came over to sit on his lap.

His arms went around here. "Been sitting here waiting all day, just for you," he said, leaning in plant a kiss on her shoulder.
