Pixie Cabin - noonish, Thursday

Johnny was thinking this was becoming habit: Go to cabin that's not his, pick up chick, wait, get grilled by other cabin mates, then pick up chick. Hang out, do whatever. Be totally cool. 

But this was not a date. No way. This was just a going to lunch, hey! new friend! thing except Tori is totally hot with a surfer bod! and you just couldn't go wrong with pizza. If they were to go out at night for pizza? Totally a date. Night changes everything. It was written down somewhere - 

So, there he was, at the Pixie cabin door, knocking. Knock. Knock. Knock.

(up early because sp is so much love today, and for water_wonder please, though if any of the cabin mates want to have a go at him, you're welcome to it and whoa, deja vu..)

"Hell?" Bel said. "Been there, done that, and nobody, especially you, is gonna send me back. You even try it, and you're gonna be enjoying the summer as a watercooler."

Johnny smirked, "Riiiight. And who's gonna -- wait -- a freaking watercooler?" Victor Von Doom didn't seem so very bright anymore if that was his best shot at knocking Johnny down. A watercooler? What the hell?

Bel shrugged. "Figure it'll cool you off so you drop the punk-with-something-to-prove act and not end up over your head." He smirked. "Plus I promised my girlfriend I wouldn't kill any of the new students. At least not in the first week."

Narrowing his eyes, Johnny folded his arms across his chest, and glared at Doom. And yes, he was trying to hide the fact that he was very much confused.

"Girlfriend? Wait a minute, wait a minute, back up - you go to school here? But that's...You're dead Doom, how..." He was starting to stutter. Man!

"I was dead, I got better," Bel said. "In time for graduation, even. Now who the hell are you, and what's your problem?"

"I'm Johnny Storm..." and he's very much feeling dizzy in the head. "...and you are Victor Von Doom..."

Bel raised an eyebrow. "Von Doom, that's a little more impressive. But that's not my name. I'm called Belthazor."

Johnny was still in the buh-zone, "Belthazor. You're not Doom? Do you know Sue? Reed? Ben? From New York?"

"Never heard of them," Bel said, using his fireball to finally light up a cigarette as he stepped out the door.

He moved aside, staring Belthazor up and down, "You look like...which can't be possible, really. I mean, it's exact, the resemblance."

"Happens a lot around here, actually," Bel said. "But I'm not this Doom guy." He looked thoughtfully toward town. "But there's this guy in town, looks like me but older. Calls himself a doctor. Maybe he's this Doom guy you're looking for."

Let it never be said that Bel was above causing trouble for people who annoyed him.

"Doctor Doom?" God, this was insane!

"He doesn't go by Doom, he goes by Troy," Bel said helpfully. "Dr. Troy. Works in the clinic. But if you ask me, there's something shifty about the guy."

"What do you mean, shifty?" None of this boded well, none of it.

"I just get the feeling he's up to something," Bel said, keeping a straight face.

Johnny nodded, understanding, or misunderstanding. It didn't really matter at this point in their conversation. "Most doctors usually are. But if this is who I think it is? He's definitely not trustworthy."

"What'd this guy do?" Bel asked, curious. "Must've been something pretty bad to get you all riled up like that. I was waiting for you to throw down."

"Aside from trying to kill me and my friends? A lot. He's got powers and he uses them in ways not collectively beneficial to the good of society. Course he's a billionaire; funded our trip to space..." Johnny frowned. "That's neither here nor there right now. He's no good. And if he is alive and here? He needs to be destroyed."

Johnny didn't crack the hard composure of his expression, but he did relent slightly by saying, "I apologize for that. For my behavior. I hope the mistake was understood."

"No problem," Bel said. "We get that kind of thing a lot around here. Half the people in Fandom have had their twin show up at some point. I wasn't too happy to see that doctor guy here. But I'm totally prettier than him anyway."

That, got a chuckle out of him and though he would never admit to Doom being pretty, cause that just wasn't normal. He did joke around, "I'll save judgement until I see him. And I am going to see him. Anything specific I should know about this guy?"

All right. Belthazor was a goodlooking guy in a totally non-Doom way.

"He's pretty full of himself," Bel said. "Real arrogant. I've never seen him do anything, but, yeah, I get the feeling there's something sinister lurking underneath the surface." He grinned. "And I would know."

"Sounds just like Doom, the cocky son of a..." Johnny sighed, ran his hand back through his hair. "How would you know?"

"'Cause I'm a demon," Bel said casually.

"Demon," Bel said, conjuring another fireball, then clapping his hands together to extinguish it.
