Washington DC, various locales, Thursday evening.

The handwavily made trip to DC had been nice. Fairly short but enough time for Johnny and Savannah to converse conversationally in the backseat of the cab and just enjoy the ride.

The couple looked extremely nice, at least this is what Johnny thought when he stepped out of the cab in his very nice suit, holding his hand out for Savannah. Smiling with a bit of cockiness, he knew every guy out there would be jealous with envy when they saw her; but for the evening she was his, and he was going to treat her exceptionally well. He spent a day and a half planning for this evening and he wanted it to go perfect.

Standing on the sidewalk before the restaurant where Johnny had made reservations, he looked down at her, her hand upon his arm, and said softly, "I hope you like French, sweetheart." When the doors opened for them, he placed his hand at the small of her back, and escorted her in.

(Minor ocd coming is up! Johnny and Savannah leaving the island is fine for broadcast, everything after NFB due to distance. Savannah modded with permission!)

Fine Italian dining.

Johnny, with his hand still upon her lower back, walked with her as they followed their hostess to a lovely, intimate table set off by soft candlelight with a short vase of white roses at its center. Johnny was handed a wine list and after consulting briefly with Savannah, he handed the list back with their order.

Nevermind that they were underage; Johnny, being who he was, had connections with certain people and it was only a matter of calling a select few, to make sure their evening was going to be exceptional and uninterrupted by people questioning their age or asking for pesky ID's.

Savannah was definitely impressed by his choice of dinner. After they were left alone with their wine, she smiled at him. "This place is amazing."

"I thought it was nice, yes," Johnny smiled at her and sipped his wine. "I wasn't sure, you know, what all you were used to so..." he shrugged shyly. "You look so hot - have I told you that yet?"

Savannah shook her head. "Not yet," she said with a slight blush, taking a sip of her wine. "I've never been to a place like this before."

"Well you do, you look great." Setting his glass down, a waiter arrived with their menus and Johnny gave his attention over to it, deciding what he would like to eat. "You're not one of those girls that just likes to eat salads, are you Savannah?"

"Thank you," she said with a smile at him. She looked over the menu and when he asked that, she smiled and shook her head. "No, definitely not."

"Good," he winked at her. "So...what's it going to be? I believe I am going with the salmon. Can you speak French, Savannah? yes, French, not Italian *facepalm*"

Savannah grinned. "Yes, I can speak French." She closed the menu. "I would like the salmon, also."

A dance club worth having a good time at.

Johnny was already smiling as they entered. "Three levels of dancing! How cool is that?" Flashing her a wink, he took her hand and held tight, working their way through the throng of people until he reached the second floor. He loved the dark glow of the place and new he would have a good time dancing here.

Savannah held onto him as he led her through the crowd and to the second floor. She had to admit that she liked the way the lighting was set up and was looking forward to dancing. Her eye were happily sparkling as she looked up at him.

He grinned down at her and pulled her closer against his side. Leaning over, he spoke against her temple, feeling the silkiness of her hair against his lips as they moved, "You want to get something to drink first, or do you want to head out to the floor and get our groove on?"

Grinning, he led her out around the edges of the dance floor and unbuttoned his jacket and loosened his tie at his neck. Then Johnny pulled her up against him - one hand splayed at the small of her back, his other arm relaxed against his side, his fingertips just reaching out to brush hers.

Savannah had no problem matching his movements and was thoroughly enjoying herself. "You really are good at the surprises, Johnny."
