Basilisk living room - Thursday night

Coming into the living room, Johnny picked up the remote control and started channel surfing. Yes, he was shirtless. He was going for the fashion trend that was apparently Fandom. Nahhh, really it's just cause it was comfortable. 

But if someone tried to throw glitter on him, he might have to throw a fit or something and that would totally ruin his good mood.

"I need some popcorn."

Haku walked into the living room to work on another letter and chuckled at Johnny. "You always seem to be hungry."

He looked over, "Hey, Haku, what's up? And yeah, I know. Got any munchies?"

"Hmm, I have rice crackers," he said pulling a packet of them out of his bag. They weren't the nasty american style, but the actually good and spicy Japanses style. "They're spicy though."

"Spicy is good, but I don't want to take your munchies if you're saving them for something. I'm sure I can find something around here." He grinned, "Just too lazy to do it."

Haku smirked and rolled his eyes. "No, its' fine. I have more of them," he said tossing them to Johnny as he settled down to write.

Grabbing the bag, he said, "Thanks," then he dug in. "What you working on?"

"A letter home," he shrugged and smiled slightly. "Though I probably won't send it."

"Why's that," he asked, munching on a cracker.

"Long story," Haku blushed. "One, I don't really know if he's in the same place as I left him in, and two I'm rather angry with him."

"So...you're sending it to one person? Or not sending it rather?"

"Well, I only have one person back home to write to. He's pretty much all I have. We travel a lot so I've never quite been able to make a lot of friends," he explained.

"Oh, geeze," Johnny kind of felt sorry for her. Yes, he didn't know yet that she was a he. "You miss him pretty much then?"

That's okay, no one yet seemed to realized Haku was a He.

"Yes and no," Haku admitted. "I'm more worried about him than anything. He tends to take a lot of needless risks and I dont' want him to be captured or killed."

Teddy blinked a few times at the shirtlessness. Not that he was about to complain or anything, but it was a little odd.

"What's on?" He left the 'Besides not your shirt' unsaid.

"Hey, Teddy," Johnny said, then shrugged. "I dunno, just surfin'. You're more than welcome to the control." He cocked a curious brow, ready to toss it to him did he want it.

Teddy shook his head, grabbing a seat on the couch. "I usually just put the Discovery channel on and hope for something interesting. Whatever you want is fine."

"Discovery's good." He turned it there and set the control aside. "So how's things going?"

"I got made the TA in Arts & Crafts," Teddy replied, way too excited over that. There might have even been a geeky little bounce over it.

Because, dude, Captain America!

"Really?" Johnny wondered over that bouncy bounce with excitement. "Like the glitter do you, Teddy?"

"Huh?" Teddy shook his head. "No, the teacher? He's Captain America, like the first super hero ever! This is gonna be so cool!"

He leaned forward, bracing his elbows on his knees, "The first superhero ever?" Johnny should have made a point to meet this teacher the other day.

"Pretty much." Oh yes, this was even worse than learning he was rooming with the Human Torch. "From World War II."

"Damn. That's pretty...awesome." And now Johnny felt like showing off. Yes. Cause he could.

Because he was Johnny Storm and that's what he did.

"Isn't it?" Now he hoped the gleeful bouncing, which didn't happen, was understandable. "So how have your workshops been so far?"

Johnny kept playing with his flaming hand, the light from it looked good bouncing off his shirtlessness.

"I'm going to make a point of meeting him next class, that's for sure." Grinning, he said, "They're great actually. I'm looking forward to tomorrow though. Flight and Flying has got to be awesome!"
