The Causeway - Sunday evening

As much as he wasn't looking forward to this day, it was here, and there wasn't a damn thing he could do about it. It was time to go.

His stuff had been packed up and sent ahead save for the few things he'd left for Savannah. A few shirts, a hoodie; small incidentals that she'd wanted to keep with her. He'd said his goodbye to Destiny, and rather quietly did he and Savannah make their way to the causeway.

Everything that needed to be said, had already been said. It was the goodbye that was going to hurt like hell.

"Hey hey now, no discussing Johnny junior," he said quickly. "Johnny junior hates it when people talk about him and he's not there to listen in."

"Well, it's not like we can talk about my sex life," K-Mart said. "Because aside from that one make-out session with Gwynn during the sex pollen, I don't have one. So we gotta talk about yours and Johnny junior's."

Blink. "No, no... you can go on about kissing Gwen if you want. I totally don't mind. I mean, that's what friends are for, right?"

"I'll own up to dirty, missy," he laughed. "The other? Not so much."

"Hey, being a bastard isn't always a bad thing," was her opinion. "I mean, it could come in handy sometimes."

"Well..." K-Mart frowned. "If people won't leave Savannah alone even after she's told them to... then it's not so bad. Beyond that... um... shit, I know the answer to this one, I swear."

He laughed at her but only because she was adorable. "Give me a hug, K-Mart, so I can get going."
