Savannah and Johnny did the whole spending time with each other's families for Christmas. A day each. And it was enough. The rest of their break would be spent with each other, basking in the sun, snorkeling, fishing (Johnny would like to try, hush), and you know, doing what they did best.

Currently they were waist deep in the most gorgeous water ever, and Johnny was enjoying himself by splashing his girlfriend. It was what boyfriends did, right? Especially since she was wearing next to nothing. She deserved to be flirted with.

"I want you sure, Savannah," he told her.

"I don't want to keep you from anything you might enjoy here at school after I leave." But hell, he wasn't thinking about gremlin bites, or girlkissy parties, or her just being plain lonely and seeking someone to ease that for her.

She looked at him very seriously and he would be able to see how she felt and would see the truth in her eyes.

"I am sure, Johnny," she said firmly. "You're my heart."

He nodded. He believed her.

He just didn't trust other people as easily.

"Drink your punch, sweetheart. And if you've had too much sun, tell me. We'll head inside..."

Any person except Johnny tried to touch her and they'd end up thrown through a wall -- if they were lucky.

She lay her hand against his cheek. "You're the only one I love."

"I know that, baby," he said, capturing her hand. "It's the other dicks out there that I don't trust."

"The other dicks aren't fireproof," she smiled. "Any one tries to touch what's yours and they'll become flambe."

"See that they do," he chuckled, kissing her hand.

She grinned. "Of course I will. Your girl."

Plucking a cubed piece of mango from the bowl, he leaned over, grinning, pressing the piece of fruit against her lips.

Savannah sucked the fruit from his fingers, her eyes full of laughter.

Chuckling, he allowed his gaze to rake over her. "Best. Christmas. Ever."

Her eyes darkened and after she swallowed the fruit, she nodded in agreement.

"I agree completely."

"I think you should come sit on my lap and tell me what you'd like, that you haven't gotten yet," he told her, his gaze wicked.

"Hmmm..."

She got to her feet slowly and pushed him back so she could make herself comfortable in his lap.

One hand went to her thigh. High on her thigh, his fingers curling inwards just slightly. His other arm wrapped around her back, his hand settling on her hip. "Tell me," he whispered.

She shifted slightly, leaning against him, one hand running up to lay flat on his chest.

"First, I think you should kiss me."

The corner of his mouth lifted, just barely. "I think I can manage that." Dipping his head, Johnny caught her mouth and slid his tongue between her lips, seeking entrance right away.

As Savannah kissed him back, her other hand slid down to his waist. She loved touching him.

As he did her. His fingers near her hip toyed with the string there and slipped inside of it, running back and forth along her skin. "You're temptingly sweet," he whispered against her mouth once he pulled back slightly.
