Rm 217, Tuesday after classes

To say that radio hadn't bothered him, was an understatement. It had really pissed him off to know that Savannah had blabbered her mouth to practically everyone. Might as well have considering who all knew now.

Whatever, he went to her karaoke class anyway and watched her perform. After that he took off. He didn't bother to go to her cheerleading practice like he normally would have. Instead he came back to the dorms, took a shower, halfway dressed, and grabbed a beer from the mini-fridge.

Parking his butt in a chair, he turned on the TV and started flipping through channels.

[Door is open, as is the post. ETA: Savannah & Johnny's convo is NFB. Anyone that comes visiting or to kick his ass, does so after Savannah's already come and gone.]

Savannah was kind of a wreck inside. After Johnny had shown up at her performance, she had expected to see him at cheerleading practice in hopes that maybe they could go out and talk afterwards. However, when he hadn't shown up, it had hurt.

She dealt with hurt and upset in the only way she had trained herself how.

That would be why she was coming into their room to get her grimoires and the darker stuff Benicio had been sending her.

She faltered only slightly when she saw Johnny.

It's not that he wasn't expecting her to show up, it was her room too. But he was still jolted from the progess he was making with the TV.

"Hey, forget your megaphone?" No. It wasn't nice, and he regretted the words the instant they came out of his mouth.

Savannah flinched noticeably at that and pain filled her eyes before she could look away. Swallowing, she crouched on her side of the bed to pull out her backpack with her grimoires in them.

"What did I do now?"

"Oh, I don't know.... possibly tell the world about our argument?"

Savannah rolled her eyes, fighting back her temper as she dropped her back pack on the bed.

"Let's see, thanks to the squirrels and radio, the whole damn place already knew we were fighting, so don't lay that on me. Second of all, the ones I talked to yesterday were my family and my friends that I was asking for advice because I kept upsetting you."

"Yeah, well, you didn't have to blabber so openly. You do realize how many people probably want to kick my ass now, right? And you know what? I don't just stand around and take it. Maybe you should have thought of that before you spoke up."

"No one is going to come after you because we're fighting because they god damn well know what I would do to them for it. I can take care of myself -- oh wait, according to you, I shouldn't be taking care of myself! I should be letting other people fight and I should stay tied to beds or hiding out!"

That was it. Johnny threw his beer bottle across the room and stalked towards her, towering over her. "Listen to me. I did what I did for your own damn good. Yeah, I regret it now, and hell yeah I'm proud of you for rescuing people. But goddammit, don't you understand how it makes me feel? I just wanted you safe. Is that so fucking hard to understand?"

"Regret it? I'm sorry, I wasn't aware because of your whole lack of apologizing for it!" Savannah glared right up at him, not caring that he towered over her. "No, Johnny, you did not do it for my own good. You did it because you couldn't handle me doing the same damn thing that you do! If it was just a matter of wanting me to be safe, you would have taken me with you so we could watch each other's back. But no, you had to let your ego get in the way and do your whole damn 'I'm the man so I do the fighting' routine."

Oh, look, the door was open, and Anders just happened to be coming down the hall. Wasn't that convenient?

"You frakking moron!" he exploded, barging right into the room. He grabbed Johnny by the -- okay, by the arm, because that halfway-dressed thing put a cramp in his original shirt-grabbing plan, fully intent on slamming him up against the wall, and if that was a surprising display of one-armed strength even for a guy his size, it didn't occur to him.

Whoa. Johnny stood quickly and just in time to find himself slammed against the furthest wall. His hand moved up to wrap around Anders' wrist. "The hell you doing?" Okay, he pretty much knew why, but Johnny wasn't outfitted too well in the common sense department.

"Funny, I was gonna ask you that," snarled Anders, and the fingers of his free hand twitched into a fist. "Frakking idiot -- what the hell did you think you were doing?"

Good god! This was freaking ridiculous! "Why I am surprised to find you here, I'll never know. But I'll tell you this," he hissed through clenched teeth, "it's none of your goddamned business. Let go before you regret coming in here in the first place."

"It frakking well is my business when I've got Savannah crying on me because of what you did," snapped Anders, and soooooooooomebody maybe had issues. "You don't go treating people like that, jackass, what the frak were you -- no, wait, you weren't thinking, were you? 'cept maybe with your ego the size of the frakkin' . . . Yankee Stadium."

Yeah, that was actually a hell of an insult from Anders. Your mileage may vary.

Shit. "Well, now you can go blabber on her for the bloody nose I'm about to give you!" His free hand reached for Anders' shirtfront, trying to yank him closer if it were at all possible. "One last warning: what's between Savannah and I, is between Savannah and I."

"Bullshit," growled Anders, shifting his weight to shove Johnny up against the wall again. (Further proof that a certain demon was rubbing off on him in more ways than the dirty.) "Getting a little defensive there, Storm? 'cause the last time I heard someone say something was just between them and someone else it nearly got me a one-way trip to hell as a demon fraktoy."

He snorted. "Think I care about your screwed up sex life?" Yeah, Johnny might be missing the point there. So? He tore at Anders shirt in an effort to back him up and off of him so he could get in a good blow. "Back the fuck up you ménage à trois creep!"

Lana had stayed late at work, not feeling up to coming home and facing, well, anything. But finally she decided she had to get out and deal. On the way back to her room she hesitated then decided she really ought to apologize to Johnny for ditching him last night.

Which is why she was knocking on the door jamb.

He really wasn't in the mood for company but when he looked over and saw Lana, he waved her in. "Hey... thought you'd be out all day." He knew she left with Stark, he saw that much last night.
