ooc: Johnny Storm, The Human Torch

Johnny Storm is from 2005 New York City, New York. He is a maverick pilot and is very self-assured of his skills. He, his sister Sue, Reed, Ben, and Victor Von Doom, are all affected in a cosmic storm in space where they are zapped by the clouds vast energies. Upon their return to earth each experience changes in their forms (and poor stupid Ben most of all) and all begin to learn/experiment with their newfound abilities and changes in appearance. Victor Von Doom who is totally sexy be damned! And his organic-metallic head! *coughs*

Johnny Storm can fly, control fire, and surround himself in flames, essentially becoming a living torch. He can direct his flame as a blast of superheated plasma, or manipulate it for various shapes, temperatures, or effects. He can absorb flame into his body or extinguish ambient flame at will. He has the ability to fly in excess of the speed of sound and has sufficienct ambient heat to vaporize projectiles that approach him. (Although I'm taking Johnny from the 2005 Fantastic Four film, I elaborated on his abilities here from the marvel comic books on the extent of his powers and abilities because they are not fully discussed in the film although it was pretty damn cool of him to direct that heat seeking missile away from the Baxter building, yis.) 

The Torch can vaporize rocks, bottles, bullets, and even steep girders in fractions of a second. The uppermost level of the Human Torch’s power is his Nova Flame which is usually released omnidirectionally or in all directions, and reaches temperatures of 1,000,000 degrees celsius. Any level lower than this cannot burn him. Johnny can also direct beams of Nova Heat as an offensive weapon for very brief periods of time before his heat energy gives out. As fast as Johnny can fly, he can stop just as fast, at an exact spot precisely chosen. thank YOU wikipedia.

His catchphrase, "Flame on!" is customarily shouted when activating his full-body flame effect.

Initially Johnny uses his abilities to gain attention. For example entering a daredevil motorbike contest where he leaps off his bike in a burst of flames. When confronted by the others about the irresponsible use of his powers, he becomes more mature and works with the rest of the Fantastic Four to defeat Victor Von Doom.

Johnny is egotistical, cocky, and very self-assured which is accurate according to canon. He’s a playboy hot-head and loves the girls. Veering from Canon, it will be noted that his maturity level and arrogance has gotten him in too much trouble – in order for him to straighten up and take who he is and what he is seriously, his parents have sent him to Fandom High to basically slap him in shape. For Fandom purposes he is 16 years old.

Johnny likes fire. For obvious reasons. Though he does not use his abilities for threatening purposes, he will use them for defensive reasons if it was to become absolutely necessary.

He is a very protective person as well. Of his family and his friends. And though he may be under the love 'em and leave 'em variety, he can be very jealous.

Okay, here I have to tell you that Johnny will flirt like crazy. He will stare at you, the girls, up and down and back again. Of course, he's never had attention from the opposite sex either. Anyway, if you do not want your character to be flirted with or possibly thrown over his shoulder only to be shagged near to death later, let me know ooc-ly or IG, cause hey, that's always fun, isn't it? Otherwise, he will try to get in your pants. He thinks he's totally hot, which he really is, literally. His body is like whoa hot. But yes, Johnny likes himself. And he likes you, his fans.
