Basilisk living room - Thursday night

Coming into the living room, Johnny picked up the remote control and started channel surfing. Yes, he was shirtless. He was going for the fashion trend that was apparently Fandom. Nahhh, really it's just cause it was comfortable.

But if someone tried to throw glitter on him, he might have to throw a fit or something and that would totally ruin his good mood.

"I need some popcorn."

(open for any cabin mates or just anyone who might want to stop by.)

Grabbing the bag, he said, "Thanks," then he dug in. "What you working on?"

"A letter home," he shrugged and smiled slightly. "Though I probably won't send it."

"Why's that," he asked, munching on a cracker.

"Long story," Haku blushed. "One, I don't really know if he's in the same place as I left him in, and two I'm rather angry with him."

"So...you're sending it to one person? Or not sending it rather?"

"Well, I only have one person back home to write to. He's pretty much all I have. We travel a lot so I've never quite been able to make a lot of friends," he explained.

"Oh, geeze," Johnny kind of felt sorry for her. Yes, he didn't know yet that she was a he. "You miss him pretty much then?"

That's okay, no one yet seemed to realized Haku was a He.

"Yes and no," Haku admitted. "I'm more worried about him than anything. He tends to take a lot of needless risks and I dont' want him to be captured or killed."

Johnny set aside the bag of crackers, giving Haku his full attention, "What sort of needless risks?"

"Zabuza and I are criminals back home," he smiled, being perfectly serious. "The village we're from is hunting us down so we don't reveal the village's secrets. He would take on all of the hunters they send after him without a thought about his own safety."

"Dude, that sucks out loud," he said. "Why didn't Zabuza?" He hoped he said that right. "Why didn't he come here with you?"

"He's not exactly a people person," Haku replied flatly. "He's a little too old to be going to school." He didn't mention anything about Zabuza wanting to be rid of him.

Well that answered Johnny's question didn't it. Still, he kind of felt bad for Haku. And he didn't want to keep discussing Zabuza if he was such a sore subject for Haku.

"How you adjusting to Fandom, so far?"

"I'm really liking it!" He smiled sweetly. "Oh, how did you do on your project for arts and crafts?"

He smiled a little sheepishly, "Someone else did it for me."

"That's terrible!" Haku laughed.

He put his hands up, "I don't do glitter!"

Haku had to agree the glitter was a bit much... and the stuff got everywhere, but that's only if you weren't careful with it, which granted some people in that class weren't.

"Okay, so you don't do glitter. Are you afriad of it?" He teased.

Johnny lowered his voice, he didn't know why, he just did, "I'm afraid of what it causes." He nodded, raising his brows.

"Causes?" He blinked at him innocently.

Johnny whispered still, "Boykissy"

Haku blinked at him a few times in disblief before he broke out laughing. "Is that all? And I'm sure it's not the glitter that does that."

"But everybody says so. They say glitter causes boykissy. I believe them, they've been here whereas I'm new." He nodded. "I'm not sure I want to test it."

"It doesn't where I come from," Haku said. "But things are different." The grinned teasingly at Johnny. "I can think of worse images than you and boykissy."

Johnny blinked. That shocked him. "I don't know what boy would want to kiss me," he said. And that just sounded wrong.
