Pixie Cabin - noonish, Thursday

Johnny was thinking this was becoming habit: Go to cabin that's not his, pick up chick, wait, get grilled by other cabin mates, then pick up chick. Hang out, do whatever. Be totally cool.

But this was not a date. No way. This was just a going to lunch, hey! new friend! thing except Tori is totally hot with a surfer bod! and you just couldn't go wrong with pizza. If they were to go out at night for pizza? Totally a date. Night changes everything. It was written down somewhere -

So, there he was, at the Pixie cabin door, knocking. Knock. Knock. Knock.

(up early because sp is so much love today, and for [profile] water_wonder please, though if any of the cabin mates want to have a go at him, you're welcome to it and whoa, deja vu..)

Johnny understood flirting with the eyes, yes he did. Parker was doing it very effectively.

"Believe me, I get the Fandom Protection Factor. I learned about it the other evening." He clasped his hands behind his back, tilting his chin up a tad. "Not that I feel it necessary to explain to you, because after all, I don't know you, you are a stranger practically - but I am making friends, if you will. These dates? Just a friendly sort of hanging out between two new people. And honestly," he continued, lowering his voice, "It would be very hard for anyone to hide my body. Trust me."

Parker gave him another slow once-over, then grinned again. "And a damn shame, too. And you're right. Explanations aren't owed to me." She shrugged a little, stretching out her legs and smiling. "I'll be out of here too soon to form an opinion, probably. But I'll be entertained to hear about your progress in befriending people from Isabel."

Well now, that got his attention real quick, "My progress? Is Isabel keeping tabs on me?" Cause that was so good to know. Meant she was interested, right?

"And where are you going?"

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2007-05-17 09:21 pm (UTC)(link)
"I wouldn't say she's keeping tabs on you." Amusing herself, though, that, definitely. "Admiring the scenery, maybe?" Parker grinned, then said, "Moscow, Rome, L.A., and I haven't decided yet. Busy summer ahead before college."

Johnny chuckled and rocked back on his heels, "Admiring the scenery. I guess that'll work." He had a feeling Parker liked to tease, to amuse herself, and he didn't have a problem with that at all. "So I won't get to see you this next school year? That's a shame."

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2007-05-17 09:34 pm (UTC)(link)
"Nope. Just graduated." Parker smirked a little, taking another sip of her coffee. "And not sticking around to teach you new people about not getting gremlin-bit, or that the pointy end of the gun goes toward the bad guys. Alas. I doubt they have quite so many shirtless guys in Moscow."

[identity profile] fantastic-torch.livejournal.com 2007-05-17 09:40 pm (UTC)(link)
"I've been told about the gremlins and plan on avoiding them at all costs and I don't need a gun," he smirked. "And I am beginning to learn that shirtlessness is some sort of fashion trend around here. Maybe I should have shown up today without mine."

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2007-05-17 10:25 pm (UTC)(link)
"Maybe." Parker grinned a little, then got up to head back to her room. "Ask Tori. Maybe she'll pay for her half of that date. Then again, she's not some of the girls here, so maybe not."

Johnny just snickered, and called out after her, "Nice meeting you too, Parker."
