Rm 217, Tuesday after classes
To say that radio hadn't bothered him, was an understatement. It had really pissed him off to know that Savannah had blabbered her mouth to practically everyone. Might as well have considering who all knew now.
Whatever, he went to her karaoke class anyway and watched her perform. After that he took off. He didn't bother to go to her cheerleading practice like he normally would have. Instead he came back to the dorms, took a shower, halfway dressed, and grabbed a beer from the mini-fridge.
Parking his butt in a chair, he turned on the TV and started flipping through channels.
[Door is open, as is the post. ETA: Savannah & Johnny's convo is NFB. Anyone that comes visiting or to kick his ass, does so after Savannah's already come and gone.]

"I didn't mean to imply that, Savannah. What I'm saying is caution needs to rule sometimes."

"Oh, come on, Savannah, we going to bring up every little thing here?" Because Johnny was good at remembering what he wanted to remember.

"You're the one who started talking about caution and I was just pointing out that you are in no way known for it."

He glanced at her bag. "What are you doing?"

She looked at her bag. "It's my grimoires and the stuff Papa Benicio has been sending me," she said in a quieter tone. "Figured I'd take them to Sean's and maybe go out and work on them later."

"What do you want from me, Johnny? We've been fighting non-stop since Saturday. I walk in today... and this happens. I asked you what you wanted to happen with our relationship and you said you didn't know." She swallowed. "When I woke up yesterday and you were already gone... it's why I stayed with Sean last night. I worked on my magic until I couldn't stay awake."

"I think you staying with Sean might be best for now."

"All right," she whispered, surprised that her voice still worked. She went to the closet and got a dufflebag, and then just started throwing clothes from the closet and the drawers into it blindly. She may have grabbed some of his shirts since she wasn't paying attention, then she shoved her laptop and cellphone into the bag as well, zipping it up. She reached down to pet the whimpering Destiny. "Sorry, girl," she murmured. "Mommy will see you later."
She was at the door before she turned to look at him. "How long?"

"You used to love that I wouldn't hide and that I could take care of myself. It was one of the things you found hot about me, that I could kick ass." She swallowed. "I don't understand why that became something that you didn't like."
She ducked her head before she could let him see the fact that she was near tears, walked out and shut the door behind her.

And he finally mumbled, "...when loving you became more important than any of that."
