Rm 217, Late Sunday night

Johnny came back to his room exhausted. Exhausted from handwavily fighting, and exhausted from trying to search for Savannah. After their argument things just went downhill for him and he wondered about their relationship. He'd probably been an ass but she was damn stubborn.

Peeling off his shirt, he grabbed a beer and sat down on the edge of the bed, reaching over to pet Destiny.

He supposed Savannah would get back when she got back. And he would sit there and try not to worry.

[For the girl.]

The fact that he wasn't coming to bed hurt only a little less than the fact that he wouldn't look at her -- again. She watched him for a moment and then turned over to stare at the other wall. This way he couldn't see the tears that had finally won out sliding down her face onto her pillow.

Johnny wouldn't come to bed for a long time after that. He was dealing with is own hurts, his own conflicting emotions over this entire situation. How could he have a girlfriend one day and know she could be lost to him the very next? How was he supposed to deal with that?

When she would awake the next morning, she would find him already gone.

Savannah didn't sleep very well, and when she finally woke up to find Johnny gone, she curled up in tears for a very long time. She thought about skipping class because it would hurt too much to see him, but she couldn't do that to Mr. Rogers.

As it was, she was late to class.
